TL;DR — we collect nothing
Stashy stores all your data locally on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, and no way to see your information.
1. Data we collect
None. Stashy does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information, financial data, or usage analytics. There is no account creation, no sign-in, and no registration of any kind.
2. Where your data lives
All budgets, expense entries, settings, and preferences are stored entirely on your device using iOS local storage. This data never leaves your iPhone or iPad and is not accessible to us or any third party.
If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed from your device. There is no cloud backup and no way to recover it.
3. Third-party services
Stashy does not include any third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking. We do not use:
- Google Analytics / Firebase
- Facebook / Meta SDK
- Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar tools
- Any advertising or attribution network
The only connection to an external service is the Apple App Store, which governs the download and update process under Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Device permissions
Stashy does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or any other sensitive device capability. The app works entirely with data you enter manually.
5. Children's privacy
Because Stashy collects no data and contains no advertising, it is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
6. Changes to this policy
If we ever make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
Because we collect no personal data, such changes are unlikely and would never affect data you have not given us.
